Noble Maple was founded by someone who has spent nearly 30 years working in and consulting for nonprofit organizations, building systems, designing processes and documentation, leading technology, running fundraising campaigns, and serving on boards. She has been building websites for nearly 30 years and setting up technology programs for nonprofits for almost as long. By day she leads enterprise program management and chairs an AI governance council, which is where the small business side of this work comes from.

AI rollout planning
Where AI fits in your organization, what to try first, and what to leave alone. You get a plan sized for your team: the two or three use cases worth piloting, which tools to use, guardrails for donor and client data, and a policy your board can approve. Staff AI training
Hands-on sessions that Jenn develops with you as a custom training for your organization. Staff learn how to use AI safely and securely, see the art of the possible, build simple automations and agents that save real time, and understand when not to use AI at all. Sessions can include your board, and everyone leaves with practical skills they can put to use right away.

A short look at everything your organization runs on: website, donor database, email, file storage, and the spreadsheet nobody wants to touch. You get a plain-language report of what's working, what's at risk, and a prioritized list of fixes with rough effort attached, so you can budget and decide.
Campaign and project systems setup
A working system for the projects that stretch a small team: capital campaigns, events, grant tracking, board reporting. Tool selection, workflow and template setup, and training, built so a volunteer or a new hire can pick it up. Pairs with the Noble Maple toolkits if you already use them.
Website design or redesign

A builder’s approach
Jenn Howe has spent nearly 30 years in nonprofit work across programs, operations, technology, and fundraising, including 16 years in community outreach building programs and securing grants, and a term as board president of a regional animal welfare organization. She has built websites and stood up technology programs for nonprofits for close to 30 years. She currently leads enterprise program management and chairs an AI governance council. She lives in Maine on a hobby farm.
The approach is a builder’s approach: design the processes, documentation, and systems that let small teams operate like much larger ones.
Do I need a toolkit or a membership to work with you?
No. Consulting stands on its own. If a toolkit would save you money on a project, Jenn will say so.
Can you work with the tools we already have?
Yes. The point is to make what you have work, whether that's WordPress or Squarespace, Little Green Light or Bloomerang, Google Workspace or Microsoft 365. Recommendations to switch only come with a reason and a cost attached.
We don't know what we need. Where do we start?
The technology and systems assessment exists for exactly this. It's short, it's fixed-scope, and it ends with a prioritized list you can act on with or without further help.
Do the monthly plans lock us in?
Plans are scoped to a set of included work each month and reviewed together on a regular basis, so they grow or shrink with what you actually need.
Do we have to use AI?
No. AI is one section of this page, and it's there for the organizations that want it. The rest is websites, databases, support, and systems, and none of that requires it.
