I've been building websites for small businesses for nearly 30 years. For more than 25 of those years I've also worked with nonprofits on websites, technical support, program management, marketing, and outreach.
Today I work in corporate IT across marketing, design, software development, and program management. I bring that same discipline to every organization I work with: clear structure, documentation people actually use, and a practical view of where technology helps and where it doesn't.
I live in Vassalboro, Maine, on a small hobby farm with my three dogs, a few chickens, and an assortment of other random “pet” farm animals. I work with organizations in person across Maine and remotely everywhere else.

Why I do this work
Small nonprofits and small businesses run on the same fragile things: a website someone built years ago, a database only one person understands, and processes that live in someone's head. When that person leaves or the site goes down, everything stops.
Most of these organizations can't justify a full-time IT person, and big agencies are priced out of reach. I want to be the person they can call: someone who builds it right, writes it down, and hands it back so they're never stuck.
