Jennifer Howe

Founder & CEO, Noble Maple Consulting LLC

Jennifer Howe has worked in and consulted for nonprofit organizations for more than 27 years, bringing a wide range of experience across programs, operations, technology, and fundraising. Her nonprofit career began in community outreach, where she spent sixteen years building programs from the ground up, writing the grants that funded them, and creating the systems the organization ran on. She has since served in board leadership, including as Board President of a regional animal welfare organization, and continues to consult for nonprofits today.

Jenn brings a builder's approach to nonprofit work: designing the processes, documentation, and systems that let small teams operate like much larger ones. Alongside her nonprofit work she leads an enterprise program management office and chairs an AI governance council, and she brings that same discipline — clear structure, sound governance, and a practical view of where technology actually helps — to the organizations she works with.

Jenn lives in Vassalboro, Maine, on a small hobby farm with her three dogs, a few chickens, and an assortment of other random “pet” farm animals.

Why Noble Maple exists

Small nonprofits keep doing the same work — capital campaigns, events, grant management, board reporting — from scratch, every time. The tools that exist are either generic templates that don't match how the work really goes, or consulting engagements priced out of reach for a small organization.

Noble Maple is the middle option: the toolkits, templates, and AI guidance a small team needs, at a price it can actually pay.
